Life with a job update

First week over for my new job, things are fairly relaxed and its an enjoyable way to make money for the meantime. Only real complaint is the weird hours, 8:15 to 4:45 really? 9am starts give me another 45 minutes to sleep in the morning, doesn't help that I stay up till around 1:30am every night still though. Its nice that we can go home after we finish all the work though, so I usually finish about 3 and get to spend some time in the sun (pretty rare for me actually haha). We have a big storm on atm though, but before the storm started I was able to go down the seafront and snap some pictures of this friendly sting ray.
He was just siting there for some reason, some boats scared him away but 5 minutes later...
Smaller eagle ray stole his spot, I dunno why they love it maybe its comfy there...

    Those hours aren't that awful. I typically work about 8-6 or sometimes later depending on how much work I get done. And those pictures are gorgeous. Sure beats the dirty NY water and beaches.

    Those hours aren't too bad, they just seem odd in today's 9-5 world. You should consider trying to sleep before half one at this point though.

    In my country people usually start work at 7am :) and school starts at 7.30 :)

    Not bad hours espiecially since you get to leave when you're done, I'd take that.

    Its probably a really warm spot! Gets sun is shallow close to rocks. Its like a mansion for sting rays!

    Finishing at 3 and spending time with the sting rays sounds nice, but I feel your pain--early mornings suck.

    Early morning sucks esp when you have to travel long for work. But atleast it ends soon. Nice pics, the ray seems calm and composed.
